OUR SERVICES

At Lens Lounge, we deliver personalised eye care tailored to your vision, lifestyle and long term eye health - combining clinical precision with a considered, boutique experience.

WHAT WE DO

  • A tailored assessment of your vision and eye health, using advanced imaging and expert insight to detect subtle changes and support long-term clarity.

  • We use some of the world’s most advanced lens technologies to ensure every prescription delivers exceptional clarity, comfort, and performance.

  • Glaucoma can develop gradually and without warning, affecting the health of the optic nerve over time. With a focus on early detection, we use advanced technology and considered clinical care to screen for and manage glaucoma, supporting long-term, healthy vision.

  • Early vision care is essential for development and learning. We provide gentle, thorough eye examinations for children in a calm and supportive environment, with a focus on early detection of vision issues.

  • Individual contact lens assessments to ensure clear, comfortable vision. We tailor lens options to suit your prescription, lifestyle and eye health needs, including daily, monthly, and specialty lenses.

  • Macular degeneration is a progressive eye condition that impacts the central retina, reducing sharp, detailed vision over time. Regular eye examinations allow for early detection. We combine advanced diagnostic technology with tailored care to help protect your vision and quality of life.

  • Cataracts cause the eye’s lens to gradually lose its clarity, affecting vision and increasing sensitivity to light. Common with age, they can impact daily life over time. We offer considered assessments and guide you with trusted referrals to restore visual clarity.

  • Diabetic eye disease can affect the blood vessels of the retina, often without early symptoms. Regular eye examinations are essential for early detection. We provide comprehensive assessments and ongoing care to help protect and preserve your vision.

OUR TECHNOLOGY

Optometrist equipment typically used for eye examinations, including a slit lamp and a camera, in a clinical setting.

We invest in advanced diagnostic technology to deliver a detailed and highly professional understanding of your eye health

  • At the centre of our diagnostic technology is the REVO OCT, a high-resolution imaging system that provides detailed, cross-sectional views of the retina.

This allows us to see beneath the surface of the eye in exceptional detail, supporting the early detection and precise monitoring of conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease.

By capturing layers of the retina that cannot be seen with traditional examination alone, we’re able to build a far more complete understanding of your eye health from the very beginning.

  • To understand how your vision functions in everyday life, we use advanced visual field analysis to map your peripheral vision.

This testing helps identify how well you see beyond your central focus and can reveal subtle changes that may not yet be noticeable in daily activities.

It is particularly important in detecting early functional changes associated with conditions such as glaucoma, where vision can be affected gradually and without obvious symptoms.

  • Together, these technologies provide a comprehensive view of your eye health - combining structural imaging, functional assessment, and ongoing monitoring.

This means we’re not only looking at how your eyes appear, but how they are actually working in real time, allowing for earlier detection and more informed care decisions.

Where appropriate, additional imaging may be recommended to further enhance the accuracy and depth of your assessment.

Occasionally, additional imaging may be recommended to provide greater depth and clarity in your assessment. Where this is the case, any associated fees will always be discussed with you beforehand

OUR LENSES

Not all prescription lenses are made to the same standard.

We choose not to work with entry-level lens designs where clarity, precision, and personalisation are often compromised.

  • While lenses may appear similar on paper, the experience of wearing them can be very different.

Lower-tier lens designs typically offer a narrower zone of clear vision, with more noticeable peripheral distortion during everyday use.

More advanced lens designs are digitally engineered for greater precision, providing a wider, more stable field of view and improved visual comfort throughout the day.

  • The difference becomes most noticeable in higher prescriptions, astigmatism, screen use, driving, and sustained visual focus.

Ultimately, better lens design is not only about sharper vision - it’s about visual comfort that feels effortless.

When it’s done properly, you stop thinking about your lenses entirely. You simply see clearly.
