At Lens Lounge, we do things a little differently. We've built our very own in-house lens finishing lab, allowing us to cut, fit and finish many prescription lenses right here on the Jetty Strip.
It's one of the things we're most proud of, and something you won't find at every optometry practice.

When you choose a pair of glasses, there's a lot that happens between finding the perfect frame and putting them on your face.
Your prescription lenses need to be carefully measured, shaped and fitted into your chosen frames. It's precise work, and getting those little details right matters.
Having our own lab means we're able to oversee much of that process ourselves, rather than sending every pair away to be finished elsewhere.
The result? Greater quality control, more flexibility and a genuinely personal approach to making your glasses.
There's a familiar face working behind the scenes at Lens Lounge.
Meet Greg. Chloe's dad, our resident lens lab expert and the man who's been looking after the eyes of Coffs Harbour locals for decades.
With 38 years of optical experience behind him, Greg knows a thing or two about making glasses.
After running his own optometry practice in Coffs Harbour for more than 35 years, he's now swapped the front counter for the lens lab, where he carefully cuts, fits and finishes glasses for our patients.
So while Lens Lounge might be a relatively new name, the experience behind your glasses is anything but.

SOMETIMES, WE CAN MAKE THAT HAPPEN.
Broken your glasses? Lost them? Heading away and realised your spare pair is about ten years old?
We get it. Sometimes waiting weeks for new glasses just isn't an option.
That's why we keep a selection of standard single vision prescription lenses in stock, meaning we may be able to make your glasses the very same day.
And if we don't have your lenses on hand? We can often have them delivered and finished right here in our lab.
Of course, turnaround times depend on your prescription, lens choice and availability, but we'll always do our best to get you seeing clearly again as quickly as possible.
