Lens Lounge was created with a simple idea - to bring back the kind of care people remember, while offering the quality and technology they expect today.

I grew up around the optical industry, with my family serving the Coffs Harbour community for over 30 years. That environment shaped how I approach patient care. It was always personal, genuine and never rushed. With over 38 years of combined family experience behind me, those values naturally became the foundation of Lens Lounge.

From the space itself to the eyewear we hand-select, every detail has been thoughtfully considered to create a more relaxed and personal optical experience.

I’ve always believed great service makes all the difference. Taking the time to listen, understand your needs, and help you feel confident in your choices is at the heart of every appointment.

Lens Lounge may be a new name, but the story behind it began decades ago.

For more than three decades, my dad and local optometrist, Greg Luke, cared for generations of families throughout the Coffs Harbour community.

Growing up around the practice, I saw firsthand that great optometry wasn't just about prescriptions, it was about relationships, trust, and taking the time to genuinely care for people.

Those values became the foundation of Lens Lounge.

Today, while I've created a practice that reflects my own vision for modern independent optometry, Greg continues to play an important role behind the scenes. Working in our in-house lens finishing lab, he brings decades of experience and precision to every pair of glasses we prepare.

It's a unique blend of trusted experience and fresh perspective, honouring the past while creating something entirely our own.

We recommend an OCT scan whenever it will provide valuable additional information about your eye health. A small technology fee applies when an OCT scan is performed, helping us maintain this advanced equipment and continue providing high quality, comprehensive eye care.
