Finding glasses for kids shouldn’t mean settling for something that’s just… fine.
That’s where Augie comes in.
Designed in Australia, Augie was created by parents Lana and Scott Arnold after struggling to find stylish, well-fitting glasses for their own kids. They wanted something simple, classic and cool - without the usual overly “kiddy” look.
And honestly? We get it.
Kids’ glasses, but make them cool
Augie makes eyewear that kids actually want to wear.
Think classic shapes, fun colours, clear frames, tortoiseshells and even a little glitter - without covering everything in cartoon characters.
The frames are designed for real little faces, with hand-polished acetate, adjustable tips, flexi hinges and multiple sizes to help get the fit right. Augie frames are designed for kids aged around 4 and up.
So they’re comfortable enough for all-day wear, durable enough for actual kids, and stylish enough that they’ll hopefully be excited to put them on.
And we love a brand with a story
There’s something particularly lovely about augie being created by parents who went looking for better options for their own children, and couldn’t find what they were after.
So they made them.
Now Augie has grown into a range of colourful, classic and genuinely cool kids’ eyewear, designed in Australia and available through independent optical retailers.
And even better, Augie gives back too. Every pair purchased helps provide lunch for an Aussie child who needs it.
Find augie in Coffs Harbour
We’re pretty excited to have Augie Eyewear at Lens Lounge, giving kids in Coffs Harbour another option when it comes to finding glasses they actually love.
Because if they’re going to wear them every day, they may as well look cool doing it.
