Your Glasses Should Fit You - Not the Other Way Around

You know that feeling when you find a pair of glasses you absolutely love?

The shape is right. The colour is perfect. You put them on and think, Yep. These are the ones.

But then you wear them for a few hours and…

They slide down your nose.

They pinch behind your ears.

You’re constantly pushing them back up.

Or you've got those little red marks across your nose by the end of the day.

That's not how your glasses should feel.

A good pair of glasses should feel comfortable enough that you almost forget you're wearing them.

Glasses aren't one-size-fits-all

Every face is different, which means the frame that fits your friend perfectly might not be the right one for you.

When we help you choose glasses at Lens Lounge, we're looking at more than whether you like the way a frame looks in the mirror.

We're looking at how it actually sits on your face.

Is it the right width? Does the bridge sit comfortably? Are the arms the right length? Are your eyes sitting nicely within the lenses?

And, of course, does the frame work well with your prescription?

These little details can make a big difference to how your glasses feel every day.

Sometimes the frame you least expect is the one

This is one of our favourite parts of helping people choose glasses.

You might walk in knowing exactly what you want.

Or you might say, “I have absolutely no idea. You pick.”

Either way, we're happy to help.

Sometimes the frame you fall in love with isn't actually the best fit for you. And sometimes the frame you wouldn't have picked for yourself ends up looking and feeling fantastic.

That's why trying things on and having someone look at the fit is so valuable.

And we're not done when you leave the shop

Even the best-fitting frame can need a little adjustment over time.

Maybe it's started slipping.

Maybe you've had a small knock.

Maybe you've just noticed that one side doesn't sit quite right anymore.

Bring them in.

A little adjustment to the nose pads, temples or alignment can make a surprisingly big difference.

Looking after your glasses is part of looking after you.
