Australian designed eyewear made for kids — and chosen by kids!

Augie Eyewear started with a mum, two kids, and a surprisingly difficult search for a great pair of glasses.

Founder and designer Lana Arnold’s son, August, needed glasses at just three years old. When Lana went looking for a pair he would actually want to wear, she found herself frustrated by the lack of stylish, well-fitting options for children. The choices were either overly “kid-like”, character-covered or simply not very nice.

Then her daughter needed glasses too.

With a background in design, Lana decided to create what she couldn’t find: simple, stylish and thoughtfully designed eyewear made specifically for kids. Together with her husband Scott, she turned that idea into Augie Eyewear, named after their son August.

Today, Augie is an Australian-designed children's eyewear brand creating classic, contemporary frames for kids aged around 4 and up. The collection is designed to give kids freedom to choose something that feels like them, while giving parents confidence in the fit, comfort and quality.
